Validation codes are created using your QuickBooks license number. However, the Community doesn't have a way of taking a look at your account to be able to verify your license number.

I recommend calling our Customer Service Department. They need to ask for your account information for them to generate a code for you. Here's how:

Click the Help menu and select QuickBooks Help.
Click Contact Us in the bottom section of the page.
Provide a short description of your concern and click Continue.
Click Start messaging or Get a callback.

Just in case you can't see the contact option within QuickBooks, follow these steps to get their contact details:

Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_GB/contact.
Select QuickBooks Desktop.
Click Manage subscription, then click Manage your account.
Click Get Phone Number.

Only our phone and chat agents have access to validation codes. You can contact them using Jeno's steps above. Once you have it, you can follow the steps below to register QuickBooks.

Click on Help.
Choose About QuickBooks Desktop 2015. and wait till the logo appears.
Press these keys on your keyboard: Ctrl + R + P.
Enter the license number and validation code.
Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions until you're finished.
