Validation codes are created using your QuickBooks license number. However, the Community doesn't have a way of taking a look at your account to be able to verify your license number.
I recommend calling our Customer Service Department. They need to ask for your account information for them to generate a code for you. Here's how:
- Click the Help menu and select QuickBooks Help.
- Click Contact Us in the bottom section of the page.
- Provide a short description of your concern and click Continue.
- Click Start messaging or Get a callback.
Just in case you can't see the contact option within QuickBooks, follow these steps to get their contact details:
- Go to this link: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_GB/contact.
- Select QuickBooks Desktop.
- Click Manage subscription, then click Manage your account.
- Click Get Phone Number.
