I have spent the best part of today including a very long time with Quickbooks support trying to understand why my French bank no longer synced. Even support did not know that QB have withdrawn from France. Now I have to find another package - any recommendations???
Did you have QBO France before? Where is your company located? France or another country?
I appreciate the effort in reaching out to us here, 041525. I can provide information to help you ensure existing EEA bank connectivity with QBO France company data will successfully be integrated.
From 2024 onwards, Intuit France SAS will no longer be able to link QuickBooks to your banks. Intuit Software Ireland Limited will now provide bank connectivity for QuickBooks within the European Economic Area (EEA).
As a result, starting in the first week of January 2024, accounts linked with French banks for clients having current French links will be deactivated. Users will only have read-only access to their bank feeds from this point on. Please be aware that the bank connection with Crédit Agricole is not affected by these changes.
In addition to this, some users may encounter bank error 390 for clients with other active EEA bank accounts starting January 2024. This means that the connection for that particular bank has been migrated to our regulated entity Intuit Software Ireland Limited and requires re-connecting.
That said, you may refer to these steps to help you re-connect your bank account:
