Reactivation

You can reactivate your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll subscription directly from your company file or through your online Intuit account. Before you reactivate, make sure you have a supported version of QuickBooks Desktop.

Here’s how to reactivate through your company file if you’re using QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Enhanced or Payroll Basic:

1. In your QuickBooks Desktop company file, go to Employees and select My Payroll Service.
2. Select Account/Billing Info.
3. Sign in using your  Intuit Account login to open your QuickBooks Account page.
4. Under Status, choose Resubscribe.
5. Follow the on-screen steps to reactivate your payroll service.

If you want to reactivate through your Intuit account online, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your online account using your Intuit credentials as you normally would.
2. Under Status, choose Resubscribe.
3. Follow the on-screen steps to reactivate your payroll service.

Reactivation can take up to 24 hours to fully complete. Your subscription status will update to Active once finished.
