Can i subscribe to the Payroll even if i already have a QBO company or is it a separate entity?
Is there a way to know if another user has edited or deleted a transaction? Using QBO. Thank you!!
I'm having trouble making QBO accountants account, can anyone guide me through? Also a screenshot would be much helpful. Thank you!!
In my excluded tab, i keep deleting a bank transaction but it keeps coming back in the excluded tab, i click delete many times already and nothing happened.
I use the Customer Type field to group customer accounts that should have contracted pricing applied to invoices. It is much easier to manage this by simply adding a customer to the appropriate Customer Type as opposed to manually adding them to all appropriate price rules (which would be error prone and time consuming). When I setup a price rule, I specify in the Customer field at the top which customer type the price rule pertains to, and the customer list below automatically populates. Now, when I create an invoice for one of the listed customers, the unit price drop down will show the price rules that can be applied. This used to work, but not anymore. Even after re-creating the price rule, I do not see the price rule on the invoice screen when adjusting the unit price for an item. One workaround is that instead of specifying the set of customers that the rule applies to by customer type, selecting them individually instead ends up working and th

Launching a business has a way of making everything feel urgent. The pressure to grow fast, land clients, and see returns can push even the most level-headed entrepreneur into reactive decision-making. But some of the most important habits in business aren't flashy or fast. They're quiet, consistent practices that build the kind of stability that holds up when things get tough. If you want to build a business with real staying power, here are three fundamentals worth committing to from the very beginning. Tip 1: Be PatientThere is no shortage of overnight success stories in the entrepreneurial world, but behind nearly every one of them is a much longer, quieter chapter that rarely makes the highlight reel. Patience in business isn't passive, it's an active choice to trust the process while continuing to show up and put in the work. New businesses take time to find their footing, build a reputation, and develop the kind of customer relationships that generate consistent revenue. Expec
Hello,I already have a QuickBooks Online Accountant firm. However, I cannot access the Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS).When I open the IAS homepage, it redirects to /app/firm/onboarding and shows "We're sorry, we can't find the page you requested."I cannot create a new firm because the system says I already have one. Could someone please check my account provisioning and advise whether my firm can be migrated to IAS or repaired? As am using from Pakistan, Is it any area restriction??
I want to link purchases through my account on Venn to auto populate in quick books.
I have not started running my business yet, I'm just setting up a few things in QBO.One of these things was importing the Customer and vendor Excel files that I needed. I was able to successfully import and make needed modification for the Customers file. But for the Vendors, I ran into an issue where QBO hung up and after 30min, I just refreshed it.But there are some entries missing and some entries are not quite right. All I want to do is to permanently delete all the vendor entries that were somehow added into my account during the improper attempt. And then retry with a cleaner version of the vendor Excel file.I don't want to make these existing Vendor entries inactive - I actually want to delete them completely and start over. How can I do this ?
i cancelled my subscription about a month ago and was told i can get a hold of old invoices and account info for a year. now i cant see nothing?
Will quickbooks continue to renew quickbooks 2024 annual subscription past 2027? Not Enterprise. I know Enterprise isn’t going anywhere right now. I am concerned for those clients who purchased Desktop 2024 before it was no longer available and pay a yearly subscription. Next year is the 3 year mark on that software which is when a version is usually retired. We are trying to put a plan in place for our clients if it’s going away. We also use Enhanced Payroll for Accountant’s to prepare quarterly payroll returns for a lot of clients. We can transfer all of those clients to Enterprise but I want to make sure that our annual subscription for the payroll is not being discontinued any time soon. Thanks!

How can I get these transactions over?
I have working on a reconciliation and I see some deposits on the dashboard. I pull them into the checking account. When I do that, I get a double entry - the deposit and a credit. How do I remove the credit?
Does anyone at Quickbooks know what they are talking about? Is there anyway to speak with a supervisor, manager or just someone in general who is actually helpful??!! How does Quickbooks even stay in business? Their customer service is WAY below par. The payroll system is not very user friendly. Things don’t get posted to the correct chart of accounts account, despite us having it all set up correctly to flow that way. We will sit on the phone literally for 1+ hours trying to find someone to help us with this and still get no where. Now we have an employee who retired but she will continue to get payments from us for a while. She basically moved from a regular employee to a 1099 employee in our system. She wants to keep her same direct deposit information and have our payments to her continue to be deposited directly into her checking account. Quickbooks is having us send in our company utility statements in order to do this?? And now they are asking for our driver’s licenses
Why is there a new account on my balance sheet called QuickBooks Tax holding account? It appeared on two of my clients balance sheets on 10/20/2025 and on 10/21/25. What is going on? This should not be on our balance sheet. And where is the offset. It doesn't equal my tax liabilities. I have attached the detail from one client. Also, it's like these were magically put into our Payroll settings also. I would appreciate the help. I spoke to support but they were not helpful. They blamed it on my deleting a transaction to reissue a paycheck before it was processed. I've done the same transaction before and did not have any issues. I am giving you some examples. thanks, Sue
Hello, This is a question for the QBO program. I am a bookkeeper that does not enter the sales invoices for the client, as he does this himself. I do record credit memo’s such as rebates for customers. When I enter a credit memo I usually use the invoice# with CR on the end, ie. invoice #45108CR. Is there a way for me to start the correct sales invoice # sequence again so that the client doesn’t continue send out invoices 45109CR on it😊? He doesn’t look at the invoice number, so has sent out several invoices with CR on the end.
We are using QuickBooks Desktop Assisted Payroll, and I need to report an issue with Washington PFML calculations for 2026.The state rate is clearly published:Total PFML rate: 1.13% Employee portion: 71.43% (≈0.807% of wages)However, QuickBooks is calculating incorrect employee deductions.Important context:Because we are on Assisted Payroll, the PFML payroll item is locked and cannot be edited We cannot manually adjust the rate or calculation The system does not appear to properly account for employers under 50 employees (no employer portion required)I have spent hours with support with no resolution.Impact:Incorrect employee deductions Incorrect quarterly filings Compliance risk Penalties due to underreporting and non-payment of premiums. As Assisted Payroll users, we rely on Intuit to maintain correct tax calculations, but currently we have no ability to fix this ourselves. How do I fix this?
Hi, How can I change an item on an invoice from a closed year if I don't have the password to modify closed-year transactions?I made an invoice in 2025 with the reference “A”, and now I need to change this reference to “B”, but I don't have the password to make changes in the system. Is there any way to fix it so that reference “A” shows up again in the inventory and reference “B” comes out?
We are using QuickBooks Desktop edition for non-profits. Each fiscal year we have a set of projects (each of which is a class) that we budget for. But sometimes we need to make a payment before that -- e.g. we have a January 2026 event that we purchased items for in July 2026. I’d like to figure out how to enter this so that:Tax Report for 2026 shows the appropriate payment. Budget Report for 2027 shows the budget item against the correct class/project. Actual accounts can reconcile against statementsI’ve seen related suggestions (receiving dues for next year in December which involved setting up a holding account and doing the 2026 entries into that account, and then in January 2027 doing entries out of that account to the correct budget item. But I can’t figure out how to actually do that while achieving the three points above. Possibly I’m misunderstanding the exact sequence of entries and/or the holding account setup (expense or asset or liability account). But everything I’ve tri

I'm a subscriber to QB on line payroll which understand includes paying and filing necessary payroll tax returns. I got a payroll notice from Oregon dated March 10 2025, complaining that\ a number of required Oregon payroll reports had not been filed for 3 different quarters. I uploaded it promptly and received the automatic acknowledgement with a promise that a human\ would review things and report back. it's now been 4 weeks and I've heard nothing. In the past I've at least gotten a human acknowledgement that someone was looking at the issue. To date I've been unable to determine if anyone looks at these things. What's wrong.? [PII Removed]
Until about a month ago I was able to automatically download transactions from Axos bank. Now I can no longer connect to it. I get a 103 error.
