I have double checked at the banks login page to be sure my Ussn and Password are good and working.
QuickBooks Online does not currently support a true end-to-end service workflow. For service-based businesses — microscope technicians, HVAC, medical equipment, field service, and countless others — the current Estimate → Invoice path skips a critical operational step: the Work Order.Without a native Work Order, service businesses are forced to manage their operational documents OUTSIDE of QBO (paper, spreadsheets, third-party apps), then manually re-enter data into QBO for invoicing. This creates errors, duplicate work, inefficiency, and frustration — and it's the #1 reason service companies look at platforms like ServiceTitan, Jobber, and Housecall Pro instead of staying within the QBO ecosystem. The Solution: Please add a non-posting Work Order document type that bridges the gap between Estimates and Invoices, with field-level data capture, one-click invoice conversion, and integration with QuickBooks Payments for card-on-file billing. Pair it with AI automation to trigger
Hello all, well I am new at this and trying to train myself on how to use Quick books. Sorry if these questions may sound dumb.I use this for my Ice vending machine business, I own several machines and I also stock and sell many parts for these machines to other vending machine owners. Which Quick books works great for keeping an inventory log. However I occasionally need to use the inventory I Sell on my own company equipment, I need help figuring out the best way to track when I do this to keep my inventory correct. Example, I have a part break on my company vending machine and I already have the part showing in stock in quick books and I pull the part from my shelf to use on my machine what is the best way to track that part pulled from inventory? I also stock and sell boxes of Ice bags these machines use. My machine constantly uses them as well. What would be the best way to track that? Just need help on figuring out the best way to track these changes in my inventory. Thank you in
Our account was hacked mid Dec 2025 & we found it on 12/29/25. The same pending charges have been there since September. It’s odd since April & May the pending charges were zero but now they’re back
I am having to make a decision. I either have to stay with desktop and now go to the annual fee plus per monthly employee fee and then the enhanced payroll fee. or change to enterprise which would come out to about the same per year but includes payroll with it. I need to know how similar they are because I like, more importantly my book keeper likes, the setup of desktopAny help with comparison and if anyone has made the change and can tell me their experience would be greatSteve

I am a FieldEdge customer. I have spoken with FE and QB both on the same phone line at same time. They are both saying "it's their fault" with no help.Suddenly I have customer accounts that were already set up as a service address with a parent customer to bill. Suddenly, I have several of these accounts that removed from the actual parent customer to some random other customers within my books. All of this shows fine in my last backup but then there was an update in QB and either right before or after that, I am not positive this all happened. I cannot just change them because QB gives me an error that it is not possible for me to do.Anyone else have this issue????

How to remove customer refunds from unbilled expense report in Quickbooks desktop? My customer refunds are unchecked for billable but have the customer name in the "Customer: Job" area. Here are the solutions I have already tried:Removing the customer name will not work because it will unlink the refunded check to the customer from their payment showing I still owe them a refund for overpayment. The billable box is already unchecked.Changing the transaction type to credit. This just removes all bills that are a credit including the billable ones for customers. These refunds are checks (transaction type) to the customer so removing transaction type check is not an option.4. I have rebuilt the data multiple times without any change to the issue.
Something changed over the weekend because now i get non stop "upgrade your QuickBooks to things you don't need" advertisements constantly this weekend. I've been logged into QuickBooks and have gotten 5 in 5 minutes!I am already a paying customer and the fact the quickbooks doesn't respect that makes me want to use someone else. this is EXTREMELY disrespectful and intrusive. how do i turn this junk off?5 of these in 5 minutes. it's every time i go in or out of an invoice, i get one of these! how annoying!
Hello Community and Intuit Representatives,I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction as a paying QuickBooks Online customer. My company, Lehman Construction, pays a significant amount for this service, but the user experience has become incredibly frustrating due to constant, intrusive pop-ups and advertisements for upgrades. It's nearly impossible to navigate the system to pull basic reports (as seen in the screenshot attached to my feedback submission) without having to dismiss multiple ads. This is not the "heavy lifting" or "better" service I signed up for. Instead of saving me time, these interruptions are a major time-sink.Are other users experiencing this? Is there a way to permanently disable these sales pitches?Intuit, please listen to your paying customers. Focus on providing value and a clean, ad-free environment for the core accounting tasks we rely on you for, instead of constantly trying to upsell us.Thank you,A Frustrated Customer
We changed our fiscal year from a 9/30 year end to 12/31. To do that we also had a shortened fiscal year to bridge the gap from 10/1 to 12/31. Is there a way to designate the different fiscal years in QB online?
I do not see any options to not participate in Workforce. I do not want to add this, we are a small company, most employees do not use computers or have email. How can I opt out of this service completely? BLL
Hello QuickBooks users, and thanks for joining us. These mini guides are designed to instill confidence while navigating your QuickBooks account so you can focus on running your business. This month's guide covers estimated quarterly taxes: What they are, who needs to pay them, how to calculate what you owe, and how QuickBooks can help you stay on top of them. With the Q2 deadline coming up on June 15, there's no better time to get this sorted. Let's dive in!-What Are Estimated Quarterly Taxes? When you work a traditional job, your employer withholds taxes from each paycheck and sends them to the IRS on your behalf, this is known as "withholding." But if you're self-employed or earn income that isn't covered by withholding, that responsibility falls on you. You do your own withholding by making estimated tax payments four times a year. These payments cover your federal income tax, as well as your Social Security and Medicare taxes for your self-employed work. And here's something impor
Hi. QBO is missing a couple important things for us but we otherwise like it and hence would really like to find a workaround or companion software to manage them. I suppose we'd also be open to a QB upgrade if necessary. The main one is WIP reporting. Meaning, enter a contract amount, have the amount be reduced by subsequent invoices, and be able to pull a reports on status of all contracts. We are in construction and are regularly asked for these... and they are a bear to do manually. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Greg
I can not determine how to do that.
As of a couple of weeks ago we continue to get Error 350 regardless of our reconnecting to the bank. How do we fix this long term?
Should i be manually logging these positive transactions as refunds back to the account or are they deducted against my other expenses in this category?
I’ve been trying for months any suggestions ?
I am retired and just keep my household expenses on my quickbooks 2019 desktop version. I do not do banking through QB. My OS is updated to keep up with security issues. My computer is always locked when I am not using it. My QB is password protected. today I was scolded and told that this is a huge security risk despite me being the only one who uses my computer. I am trying to understand how I am “being foolish” by continuing to use QB. thanks in advance.
Im missing some clients on the report. How can check to make sure its in the correct place?
