I do not wish to give the agencies a loan. I want to have my taxes withdrawn when they are actully due. This has a negative impact on my cash flow and is not desired at all. This appears to be a forced change with no options. Any work arounds?
I repair equipment for customers, often times we repair this equipment 1-2 times a year as they are high use, wear and tear. Is there a way to track the serial numbers and warranties we give for each repair inside of Quick Books? An exampleI repair Machine "A" Serial Number 12348 months later, I get the a machine from the same client, and want to track the serial number 1234, to determine how often I am repairing, if its covered under my own 3 or 6 month warranty, and which parts are being used. Thanks!Josh
Where do I install the "Intuit QuickBooks Plus Annual " installer file from?
I generate payroll tax returns in QBO, print them, and then file them myself. I prepared a 940 for 2025 through QBO. I was asked for a copy and decided to log in and just print one out, but it is missing. Only W-2's show up and some (but not all) of my quarterly returns. I have checked everywhere (archived, etc.). What happened to my previously generated 940? I was planning to set up another company on QBO, but am seriously having doubts now!!
WHY ? Why change them. I add products, I have blank lines in between my products to keep them grouped.. click save and TADA it removes every blank line. Useless. Utterly useless company.
A customer paid a deposit for 50% of a job and I’m trying to issue them a refund. How do I do so?
Anyone else want to join a class action suit against QB for false advertising??? I am now seeing that the issues I am reporting were present before we purchased quickbooks. How dare they advertise a feature knowing it doesn't work correctly? That is so wrong.THIS IS ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! QB, you advertise the crap out of project costing. IT DOES NOT WORK. I have called multiple times. SPENT HOURS on calls sometimes until 9pm at night. I have left feedback. I have escalated. Our books are so screwed up now in regards to cost on jobs- we can't even run reports. Now I am being told again that there is an investigation and they will give me an update in two weeks. Unacceptable. Every week, payroll is run and more fake data is being reported. VERIFIED: Time of projects correct in Timesheets, exports file shows correct time allocated to named projects.HOWEVER...1. Does not always come over to payroll with project data- just empty2. Show payroll
Everytime I link my account, after I verify the code it takes me back to the beginning
I had Guideline last year and cancelled at the beginning of 11/2024. Now i am unable to remove the payroll item from employees payroll contributions (note we never contributed). I have contacted guideline and they confirmed it was cancelled. They told me to contact QB support and they said to contact Guideline. So basically i am unable to get help. I went to every possible setting i know of in QB to try to disable and get the messages per the attachment. I remove QB from the Guideline website. Even though it is cancelled when i run payroll it still syncs with Guideline.Any advice how to get rid of it? QB 2024 Desktop enterprise
Hello - I am trying to do my P&L, for some reason the numbers are reversing. For example - I spent $42.00 on Mailchimp one month. It should show it as a negative but on my P&L, it shows it as income. It is doing this for ALL my entries. How do I reverse this when making the report. Please advise. thank you
When entering journal entries, sometimes we put in a memo, and sometimes we do not. The lines with no memo still ends up showing a memo line when viewed on reports. It appears to copy the memo line from the top line of the journal entry. Is there a way to make it stop doing this?
Good morning! we have 2 bank accounts where money is being transferred. monthly we are moving X amount from one bank account to another. normally I would do a straight transfer however the bank account where money is coming out of we budgeted this as an expense. so there is an expense account that should reflect this amount coming out monthly. the account money is being deposited into is simply an investment account. Does anyone know an easy way to reflect this transaction? Thank you!
Hello,We wrote out a check to a vendor, the vendor returned it because they no longer needed payment. How do I "delete" it from QB without throwing everything off during reconciliation? I am using QBD for Non Profit.
Can i enter multiple payment methods (partial cash and credit) under one "Sales Receipt"?
Several DE-9s are getting rejected with the same error: Problem: Disability Insurance (DI) tax contributions and wages are outside of the valid range.Solution: Verify your payroll information has been entered correctly in payroll setup. Also, verify that the calculated SDI tax rate has not been overridden on the DE 7. Please contact the agency to verify your tax rate. Make the necessary adjustments and resubmit your return. For contact information, go to the Payroll Support website (http://payroll.intuit.com/support/).Error Code: 2.47 Is this a QB or EDD problem? I am receiving the same error for multiple clients. SDI is setup correctly and the amount on the form is calculated correctly.
I need to post an overpayment to American Express. The bill was over paid. The bill for march was entered through bill pay and closed. I realized when doing the bank rec, that the owner made an overpayment of $5000 in March and will apply to Aprils bill. My question is how do I post the credit to American Express and apply to April’s bill. Thank you,
Recently QuickBooks Payments decided to try to choke me out of business by withholding depositing payments until I verify some "account" information. The info: What services/products were rendered TO a vendor I made my first QuickBooks Bill Pay ACH transfer to. That idiocy is supposedly cleared up, and the withheld payment money "credited" (their word) to my bank, minus the fees which were taken out immediately. So now I have a stack of CC payments that are not recorded as deposited, a lump deposit in the bank minus the CC fees for those payments, and a debit from the bank for the total of fees. So the big question: How can I subtract the CC fee(s) from a manually created bank deposit of QuickBooks Payments payments?
How can I turn on electronic filing for 941, 940 reports?
For the past couple months, many customer ach payments are being declined for no reason or they get an error. I cannot get a solution to my problem from QuickBooks. There is no reason for the payments to be declined. Does anyone have a solution? It makes it difficult to carryon a business when a customer cannot easily pay their invoice or the payment is declined and merchant fees are charged..
