Logged payments by using "Receive Payments" without creating invoices now it shows A/R

Hi, In QuickBooks desktop for Mac 2016 version. I have logged payments by using "Receive Payments" without creating invoices and then deposited them in respective bank accounts.  Now "Accounts Receivable" is showing all that amount. I have reconciled and bank accounts looks good. All I need is to get rid of "Accounts Receivables"? How can i do that?

I have been sending invoice to my client in Pounds as i dint have the option to send him the invoice in dollars. I am currently in UK. But my client wants the invoice to be send in Dollars for consistency. what should i do? I upgraded my plan to enable multicurrency. But my invoice is still the same in pounds.

Error 185 when connecting to Truist Bank

Hello, I am having an issue linking to Truist Bank with my QBO Simple Start so that I can reconcile. I have only been using QBO since September. I had no problem connecting in September or October. But now, in November, it will not connect. I see other conversations in this community about Error 185, but they are all over a year old, and I don't see any suggestion that helps me. I normally use Windows 10 and Chrome. I have tried other computers, other browsers, and incognito, but I always get the same result: I go to Bank Transactions and click "Link Account". I choose Truist Bank and log in. Then I get the security number and enter that. So far, all is good. The next screen is "Connect an Account".. Both of my accounts are there, but they are not clickable. The "Connect" button is also not clickable. There is no security question for me to answer. I cannot proceed any further.  I think the bank is requiring another security question to be answered before it will let my QBO to con

I have an issue with the eBay by Intuit integration. All data imported from eBay is coming through in USD and using American-style date formatting (MM/DD/YYYY). The connected eBay account is 100% UK-based, and all activity on the eBay side is in GBP, so the import data should not be defaulting to US formats. I believe the issue may be caused by the master admin QuickBooks account being set to the US version rather than the UK version, despite being in the UK too. I would appreciate if anyone could advise what is causing the incorrect currency and date formatting. Could you advise what needs to be done to correct this so that the integration imports in GBP with UK date formats?

Hello, I recently started using QB for my small business. It is now time to submit VAT but I noticed thatAmazon transactions are not showing VAT therefore, it is showing discrepancy in the total VAT.It is showing Total Tax but when I click on select Tax, it does not show me any option. Also, all transactions that were automatically processed don't have any VAT assigned. Any help would be appreciated.TIA

Hi Guys, Could you help, I've been away from my Quickbooks for a while, others have been using it and I see there's been several updates. One really annoying thing I've come across is when I create a new part / Material its not defaulting the VAT to 20% instead its leaving the VAT box blank, any ideas, has someone changed a setting I'm not aware of. Thank you for any replies or answers

Materials / Parts Search not working correctly

Hi Guys, I have an odd issue, when I search stocked materials my search isn't always picking up items that I know are created and in stock, when I create a part I use a prefix to catalogue the parts manufacturer an example is KR-TENN305028511 I am assuming you should be able to search any part of this number and come up with a result?  Is there any restriction to the search facility or part number creation that might cause issue with a search? Any help really appreciated.
