The new experience reports supposedly export to excel and .csv BUT when doing so for excel the values are stored as text and for .csv come with a preceding accent character rendering both reports pretty useless without time consuming formatting. I hoped they would improve on the poor existing report exports to excel that come with unnecessary and frustrating formatting (like the old sage ones).when asking support they say "It's not technically an issue but more of a working as designed kind of feature" Does anyone know if that is correct and they are supposed to export values as text?

Our Sales system reports everything in USD, but our QuickBooks company file is set up in GBP (both company currency and base currency). As a result, our revenue numbers in QuickBooks don’t match the revenue shown in our CRM system. I’d like to know: Is there a built-in report in QuickBooks that allows converting our Sales P&L into USD? If not, what’s the best way to achieve this? (e.g., custom reports, workarounds, or third-party integrations) Has anyone faced a similar challenge, and how did you resolve it?

Following the process of annual accounts on the Workpapers tab on QBO for Accountants. Abbreviated accounts for micro-entities do not include a profit and loss statement yet on the contents page it is listed. How can i correct this and remove it?
I am doing a workshop and have 2 people helping me. I will be receiving the payment for the service, but will need to split it 3 ways, how do i do this on quickbook self employed, and categorise the split part of the transactions properly? My business will only receive part of the payment.
I have a custom report called "Current YTD Creditors Report". I can change the run date to end of last financial year. But I cannot see how to change the report title to "Year End Creditors Report"; and I also cannot see how to save it so that it keeps the last year end date. (It keeps reverting to use today's date). Anyone know how to make these changes please ?
Good afternoon I have been using Self Employed for just over a year. Im fully employed (PAYE) in the construction industry with no input apart from tax code that I have inserted in QBSE On my UK HMRC account, I added that I also had a self employment. In filling in the self assessment forms that are attached to my account for completion (HMRC) the box numbers do not tally with those shown on QB. I feel sure this is an error on my side. Or am I in-fact over complicating it, do I just need to take some key information and enter on the HMRC site like income, expense etc
The Transaction Detail Report when run directly does not have a running balance. This is a bummer. When an account is drilled down it does show the running balance. However the field I am looking for is Payment Mode which is absent when one drills down from say an item on the Balance Sheet. That field (Payment Mode) which is important to me is absent from the Detail Transaction Report when run directly. This means we cannot customize Petty cash or Bank or such reports.

Today's annoyance is the following - can anybody help? I've gone to the P&L report, entered specific dates (1/3/25 - 31/5/25) which is the vat quarter. It brings up the P&L - great. Then, I click on 'purchases' to review the transactions and it defaults to about 10 columns, most of which I don't want to see, so I click on columns, get rid of the bloat, add Dr and Cr, then it looks great. I then click on a specific 'purchase' to take a closer look an the attached bill. I then press the Cross top right when finished examining, and it takes me back to the P&L.... Not back to purchases! A further irritation is that the dates I set in the P&L have now defaulted to a completely different period. So now I have to set the from and to period again, then when I click on 'purchases' again to examine the next one, it brings up the endless columns again. Yes I can right click from the P&L to look at cost lines, but each time, it defaults to giving excessive columns and n
