Question

Duplicate note on sales invoices

Whilst creating invoices to send out to customers, I always add a note of the Job number in ‘notes’.

As of today, this note is duplicating itself, which just looks wrong.

I have logged out and back in again.  I have checked that there is no narrative already in the proforma sales invoices (which there isn’t) (custom styles, invoice and edit).  Does anyone know of a solution for me please?  Thank you.

Logging out and back in is a good first step to resolve duplicate notes on your sales invoice. Since the issue persists, switch your invoice template to Modern under the Manage option.

Here’s how:

  1. Click + Create, then select Invoice.
  2. On the right-hand side, click Manage, then Design.
  3. Under Modernised templates, select Modern.

If you continue to experience this, you can reach out to our Intuit Experts so they can investigate further why this is happening with your invoices.

You can reply below if you have any other questions. We're here to help.
