Good day, felixbone.

I'd be glad to show you how to clear pending transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When you see these pending transactions on the Banking page, you'll want to match them to the charges recorded in QuickBooks. This helps clear the transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Transactions menu and then select Banking.
  2. In the For Review tab, find the transaction.
  3. Select the transaction to expand the view.
  4. Review the Matching records found in QuickBooks. This is the possible matching transaction you already entered in QuickBooks.
  5. Click the link next to each match to get more details.
  6. Make sure this is the correct match.
  7. Once done, close the window, then click on Confirm.

You can check this article to learn more about categorizing and matching transactions in this article: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

I've also added articles about balancing accounts, accessing financial reports, and other relevant topics.

Keep us posted on your progress in clearing the transactions. It's my priority to ensure your books are accurate. Have a great day.

Thanks for getting back and providing a screenshot, @felixbone.

The steps provided by my colleague above are for QuickBooks Online (QBO). And based on the information you provided, I can see that you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). That is why you're unable to see the Banking tab.

When transactions are showing as pending, the system still searches for a possible match within your account. It will just show that status for approximately 24 hours. However, if it's more than 24 hours and you're still getting the Pending status, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support Team. They have the tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and check further your bank transactions.

To reach them, click the  Assistant button at the top-right corner and enter your concern in the search icon at the bottom. Ensure to review their support hours to know when agents are available.

If you have any other concerns or questions, let me know by adding a comment below. I'll be happy to help.
