Learn how to get help with your QuickBooks product or service.

Use the Help option in QuickBooks to find answers to common questions about your product or service. If you can’t find the answers you need, you can connect with an expert for help. Here’s how.

Get the help you need for your products and services

Select your product for more info about help options.

Follow these steps if you need help with QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, Advanced, ProAdvisor.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select HelpImage Alt Text(?)Image Alt Text Help. This opens the Help page.
  3. Image Alt TextSelect how you want to get help:Image Alt TextImage Alt Text
    • Assistant tab: In the Type or ask something field, enter your question or the topic you need help with. QB Assistant will give you answers or options for you to get the answers you need.
    • Search tab: Use the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to enter your question or the topic you need help with. You’ll get a list of articles related to it.

If you don’t get the answers you need, follow these steps depending on which tab you’re in:

  • Assistant tab: Enter Talk to an expert to get options for expert help.
  • Search tab: Select Contact Us to connect to an expert for help.

Take note of the support hours for each product.

QuickBooks Advanced Weekend Support is from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEDT.
QuickBooks Self-Employed • Start a chat available Weekdays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM AEDT and Weekends 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM AEDT.
QuickBooks Online Accountant • Phone support available Weekdays from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Start a chat with a Support expert available Weekdays from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Weekends from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
