QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Team

Please note that QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2018 is a discontinued version. Validation codes are now handled on a case-by-case basis by our Intuit Experts. You can advise your client to contact them using the QuickBooks phone number in the How do I get help for other Intuit products? section.

I’ll keep this thread open for any follow-up questions or updates.

Your tag is QB Online but license/product numbers are only related to QB Desktop. Any specific concern? Do you need to migrate data from QB Desktop to QB Online or else?

You're in the right place for help, 9130347687658156.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't have a license number. You will have a Company ID instead. That said, are you trying to get the QuickBooks Desktop license number and product code? If so, you can press F2 on your keyboard.

Another way is to visit the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPS) to get your product and license number from there as long as you registered your product.

Also, if you purchased QuickBooks in a physical retail location, the license number will be listed on the packaging.

Glad to see you here in the QuickBooks Support forum, @9130347687658156.

It looks like you're using the desktop version of QuickBooks. Don't worry, I can share some insights on how you can find installation numbers.

For purchases made from authorized retail stores, you can see your license and product numbers in the original product packaging. Take a look at the scratch-off sticker located next to the UPC code. Here's how it looks like:

I can guide you with retrieving your product and license numbers, @maa4.

If you have installed QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2024, press the F2 key on your keyboard to get your product and license numbers.

If you still need to install it and purchase QuickBooks Desktop Pro from our website, the license number and product number are included in the confirmation email.

If you purchased QuickBooks from a retail store, look for this label on the original packaging next to the UPC Code.

You can also get these numbers from the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) if you have already registered your information online. Refer to this article to learn everything you need to know about using CAMPS: View, manage or update your Intuit account in CAMPs.

You can use the License Look Up tool if it still needs to be registered. You'll have to enter either your business email or the business phone to retrieve that information.

Check out this article for more information about finding your product number, license number, version, and release: Find QuickBooks Desktop license info.

Let me guide you in obtaining your license and product number, @M fayaz

As per what my previous colleagues have mentioned above, if you’ve installed QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, or Enterprise 2024, you can find your product and license numbers by pressing the F2 key within the application. You can see the product name, product number, and license number in the Product Information window.

Here's a screenshot for your visual reference:

However, if you’re still in the process of installing it, here are some ways to obtain those numbers:

Confirmation Email: If you purchased QuickBooks Desktop Pro from our website, check your original purchase confirmation email. It should contain your license number and product code.
Retail Store Purchase: If you bought QuickBooks from a retail store, look for a label on the original packaging next to the UPC Code.
Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs): If you’ve registered your product online, log in to the Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) to retrieve your product and license numbers. You can refer to this article for further guidance: Change, manage, or update your Intuit account with CAMPs.
License Look-Up Tool: If you haven’t registered your product and can’t find your license number, use the License Look-Up tool. You have to provide your email or business phone to retrieve the information.

Additionally, you can check out this article to learn how to download the latest QuickBooks Desktop with your subscription: Manage your QuickBooks Desktop subscriptions and services.

Let me know if you have further queries about your license and product number or have any QuickBooks-related concerns. Keep safe, and Good luck with your training.

Hi there, @KelleW.

Based on the provided information above, if you mean to look for your product number in QuickBooks Desktop, you can find it under the Company menu.

Here's how:

Open your QuickBooks Desktop.
Go to the Company menu.
Select My Company.
Under the Product Information, you will see your product number.

You can also press the F2 key on your keyboard. If you're unsure where the F2 key is, it is located on the top row of your keyboard, typically above the numeric keys marked as F2.

If you're using QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. Here's how:

Navigate to the Help menu.
Select Product Information.

For more information, refer to this article to learn how to find important details on your QuickBooks Desktop and related products: Find QuickBooks Desktop license info.
