Question

Does anyone else have a problem with a Full Payment Submission submitted but not accepted?

This problem has arisen for several companies when submitted on the 13th October 2026

You can check your HMRC online account or confirmation email immediately to verify if your October 13th FPS submission was actually received.

If HMRC has received the submission, it means your filing went through successfully, even if QuickBooks hasn't updated its status yet. If HMRC has received the submission, run the Employee Details report from the Reports menu to catch any data errors causing rejections.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and select Standard reports.
  2. In the Type report name here dropdown, search for Employee Details and select it.
  3. Review the name, address, and National Insurance (NI) letter in the report.
  4. Compare this information against the guidelines below to identify any discrepancies.

If there is no record with HMRC after some time, contact our Intuit Experts so they can securely review your account.
