While querying the invoice/estimate from QBO, we're not able to see discount line detail where we need to apply our discount on the invoice/estimate header. Best way to retrieve history for newly purchased business

Hello, We just purchased a business and the previous owner won't give us access to the QBO for the company.He said he would give us whatever info we request, though.Is there a way for the previous business owner to save a backup of some sort and send it to us so we have access to all the companies history? I know he can export individual reports for us but we'd like to get as much history from all aspects of the business as possible versus sort through which reports are the most important for him to give us.Thanks!
