Again and again they fail.
I have one larger invoice that a customer paid in two parts. The payment that Quickbooks labels as 'debtors' won't appear in the list of payments I can reconcile. Driving me mad!
Can someone help me.. My van /car expenses are showing as disallowable within the tax form?
I have noticed on a number of clients that where we have nominal accounts under the Accruals and deferred income the balance sheet is omitting this line.
I am sole trader.I uploaded all my receipts into receipt section.I uploaded all my cash sales into the bank transfer section.I linked my business bank to the bank sectionMy receipts [Costs of goods] came from my personal account. My personal account is not connected to Intuit. I do not want it connected. Is there a way to get the receipts to show as i cannot get an accurate profit and loss without them being recognised?
Hi,I'm looking to use the cashflow planner - if I add a budget into Quickbooks - will it use those values for the predicted balance? Also, is it possible to look further ahead than 3 months? If you choose 12 months - it goes back and tells you what it has been.Thanks.Lindsey
It is currently different to the profit and loss so not even consistent within QB
We're so excited to have launched Practice Manager. This is a feature that allows you to create client requests or projects to organise and track your team's work. It will help you keep your work on track from start to finish. I've sat down with Fer Amenedo who's the Senior Product Manager working on Practice Manager. Below, he's answered some of your questions that we've heard. Take a look and if you still have questions, please feel free to post in the comments. 1. How many clients can I have in Practice Manager? You can have as many clients as you want, whether they are QuickBooks clients, or clients managed in other FMS. Our pricing tiers are based on the number of clients that you have. So, based on how many clients you want to manage within Practice Manager you will need to select the right tier for your practice. Our lowest tier allows you to manage up to 100 clients. 2. How can I bring my client dat
We use QB online and currently have over 40 staff members set up to be able to submit expenses using the expenses app. At the end of each month we total up each staff members expenses then reimburse them. The issue we have, is we can't seem to find a way to total these expenses. For example, last month there were 178 expense claims and they appear on QB as they are submitted. This means that the admin needs to go through the 18 pages of submissions and manually find each submission for each staff member and total them by hand. This is not very efficient at all and has lead to many mistakes. Is there a way that totals can be displayed on screen per staff member or better still, a report that can be produced to show these total per staff member?
I need to see the opening balance for each category.
I'm experiencing an issue with missing figures in my tax summary, transaction reports and profit and loss report. The figures for my business turnover and expenses in various categories are completely inaccurate as a result. I raised the issue with QB support and they fixed it once for one category (Car, van and travel expenses), where there were 3 missing transactions in the reports. But now I can see it's happening all over the place. To be clear, all transactions have been imported and categorised correctly from my bank accounts, but some of them just don't show in the reports. This is making me very nervous about QB's reliability, especially with MTD round the corner. I'm in the process of receiving support from QB, but I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has been experiencing the same issue. If not, double check your reports and see if they match your bank transactions! If there's only a few missing, it'd be very easy for them to go unnoticed.QB Sole Trader acc
Modern view reports don’t offer the full list of columns that they should. 'P+L Detail' doesn’t show 'VAT amount' like the 'Classic report' version did and 'Balance Sheet Detail' still doesn’t show 'VAT code' or 'VAT amount' (they were lost when we had to move from the wonderful Desktop QB to the inadequate QBO. These reports are key ones and used to be very useful for VAT review purposes; they're getting worse now!
I put orders on for later in the month so I prefer to see Sales figures that includes all the figures up until the end of the month rather than just to date. This is still two options but they both produce the same figure I can go into reports and find the information but it makes more sense to have it as an option on the dashboard
I have two bank accounts that I cannot link, so I have manually uploaded the transactions. Doing so adjusts the 'Quickbooks Balance', which are now accurate for both accounts. However, the 'Bank Balance' figure for each is £0 and I can't see anyway to change this. It seems that the cash flow section only factors in the bank balances, which means the cash flow section is far from accurate, because it is not factoring in the two balances I have that I have been manually uploading.
I don't quite understand the logic behind the unrealised FX gain/loss not being included on the TB - the closing AP/AR balances should be remeasured at the closing rate so by not including this adjustment the balances are presented incorrectly? Also not following why the gain/loss is reversed out the following month - our 2022 gain/loss should go to retained earnings like all other P&L accounts as part of year end, so the Jan-23 position should start at 0?Would appreciate any further information on this
I have tried watching online tutorials to fix it, but not sure if they're all up to date, they all seem different and now my brain is fried! I'm a sole trader so trying to keep my accounts really simple, but didn't realise this was happening until the end of the whole year - so a lot of transactions to fix!
