Problems with transfers from euro to GBP bank account. Home currency euro, and I select euro as the transfer currency but after I save the transaction it changes the currency to GBP

I tried to delete the incorrect payment but it would not allow me to save it. QB said I must delete it from the deposit. How do I do that?

When Square sales move over to QB, HST ON is not being calculated. Everything is configured correctly in Square for the items and services. Also appears settings are correct in QB.

I am considering moving to Quickbooks online payments.  I would need to process a couple hundred invoices at the 1st of each month.  They are all the same amount for each customer.  So when doing the reconciliation at the end of the month, how would I know which deposits to my bank account tie to the auto generated deposits in quicbooks?  I can’t envision how this would work.  There is typically a delay between the time the customer processes an ACH and the time it hits the bank account and multiple ACH payments on the same day don’t always hit the bank at the same time.  It just seems like it could be very difficult to reconcile.  I am a one man show so I need to not make this a bigger problem and more work for myself.

I had QB desktop for years then converted to online for years now am retired and want to move back to desktop just so I have my accounts secure for the next 4 years.   Help!

I recently signed up for QuickBooks Online for my small business and have been trying to connect my Dover Federal Credit Union checking account. The connection appears successful. QuickBooks accepts my banking credentials, recognizes all my accounts, and initially displays the correct checking account balance during setup. However, after connecting, I'm experiencing several problems: No transactions download. I've selected January 1, 2026, as the import start date, but QuickBooks shows zero transactions under both Pending and Posted. Incorrect bank balance. My actual checking account balance is $908.05, but QuickBooks reports −$267.81. Earlier, it showed $0.00. Strange account identifiers. During setup, QuickBooks displays accounts with identifiers like *KING, *ARES, and *GACY, which appear to be the last four letters of the account names rather than the last four digits of their account numbers. Reconnecting doesn't help. I've disconnected and reconnected the bank multiple times,

What is the best option between QBO and Self-employed?

I want to delete a filed VAT return in QuickBooks. Please help me.

I cancelled my subscription some months ago, but every month after, I have been billed for it. And when I try to log in using the ID that the billed-you email is being sent to, I’m told there’s no company it can find to log me into. Wonderful - months of billing, no access to QBO. And there’s no response at support@intuit.com. And since I can’t get to a company, I can’t submit a ticket. So what am I supposed to do? This is going from tech-error to something much, much worse.

I have an issue with a VAT return in QuickBooks. A nil VAT return was filed in QuickBooks for the period January to June, but the client was not VAT registered during that period, so the return does not appear in HMRC. The client’s VAT registration became effective in July. However, the nil return recorded in QuickBooks is causing the pre-registration VAT claims to be treated as late claims, rather than being included in the first VAT return. How can I remove or correct the incorrect VAT return in QuickBooks to ensure the pre-registration VAT claims are included correctly in the first VAT return?

I need to change the logo showing up on my invoices and I've spent 15 minutes trying to hunt down where to do it. I can't find the option anywhere and the "Help" search is useless. Where is the logo hiding so I can swap it out? Thanks!

I had to

I am currently using QB Self Employed and was informed that this option has been discountinued and I will need to convert to QB Simple Start.  I have been talking to a lady “Precious” that has a foreign accent and I have trouble understanding what she is trying to tell me to do in order to get this done.  So, is there step-by-step instructions that can be provided in order for me to convert over to Simple Start.  I currently have two Etsy shops that flow into my Self-Employed account.  Please advise me at your earliest possible convenience or have someone that clearly speaks the English language contact me to walk me through it.  Sincerely, [Removed]Company ID:  [Removed]

I needed to create a new invoice based on todays date but with what the customer had previously. So loaded up an old invoice, pressed duplicate, amended the quantities and changed the invoice number. Forgot to change the date…. Realising my mistake I went to change the date and got this: Any transactions in a VAT period marked as filed can’t be changed on the Flat Rate Scheme Now I’d understand that if the VAT period hadn’t already been filed and locked, so why can’t I change that? Shouldn’t it have least warned me about the date considering the that vat period was locked? What Issues will it cause me? Just seems so damned stupid.
