With the latest update ran just days ago to both my Mac OS  to latest vs. of Golden Gate 27.0.1 and the latest vs. update V23.1.13 R14 Build 962 to Quickbooks Desktop 2024 for Mac there is a glitch in trying to create an invoice for any Customer that has sub menu “Project” or Group type in use. When you select in the drop down menu it works for standard customer but not for any that seems to have a “sub” level to it. When attempting to select the one from the menu upon tab or clicking out of that menu to start building the invoice it “jumps” to assigning the invoice to a completely different customer. If I do it again two to three times attempting to select the one I want it does finally add and hold the right customer and project but it used to just do it correctly standard basic procedure from first initial choice like it should. Something changed or broke in the latest updates. Is there going to be a fix? Also note I have run the tools and the “Verify” and “fix-rebuild” data has bee

Fellow small business owners -curious if anyone else has run into this, and how you handled it.Quick background on me: I run a seasonal student storage business in Massachusetts. We've been with QuickBooks Payments for 14 years. Last year we processed about $1.72 million in card payments through Intuit. Long track record, clean payment history, no chargeback issues.Last May (2025), I noticed Intuit had quietly raised my processing rates heading into my peak season. I caught it on the statement, called support, and after some back-and-forth got the rates walked back. You can actually see it on my June 2025 statement where there are duplicate fee line items at both the old and new rates from the mid-month adjustment. This year I decided to be proactive. I got a written competitive quote from another payment processor that uses interchange-plus pricing — basically pass-through interchange plus a small processor margin instead of Intuit's flat-rate model. Their effective rate estimate for m

Estoy intentando pagar, pero solamente me cobran $1 y no reestablecen el servicio. ¿Qué puedo hacer?

I tried taking the banking and accounting exam for Level 1 certification today but it keeps freezing on question 9. I’ve tried switching browsers, logging out and back in, and deleting my browser history/cache. None of these “solutions” resolve the issue. I’ve extremely frustrated by this since I am unable to move forward with other certifications until I pass this exam. Please help!

Hi all. I am currently cleaning a client’s books and reconciling their sales versus COGS in the PnL report. We order our items from several suppliers. Now, here’s the interesting part: Client creates a bill for the items order, then set the billable option on the Bill to their customer for dropshipping/order. Client invoices the customer for the same item. The billable item from the bill isn’t ported over to the invoice. The invoice is created manually based on the bill/PO document. Now on the PnL By Job report, I can see both the bill AND the invoice for the drilled down total for COGS. By experience, only the invoice should appear as COGs, correct? I am seeing lower than reported income % on the report per job/customer. I wanted to confirm this before I submit my proposal cleanup. I want to provide as much detail as I can since they handle a large amount of orders spanning years and I don’t want to leave out the details on what exactly is going on on the report.

So about 3 weeks, my online store got hit by someone trying fraudulent credit cards. Around 250 cards were tried in over 10 minutes and 4 were successful.  I got an email that Quickbooks was closing my Payments account. Which makes sense and I don’t blame them for it. I called the next day and they said I had to reapply for a new account and told me to use a different email address.  The application was filled out on 8/20 and I got my new Merchant ID number and said it will take 1-2 business days. That was 19 days ago. Numerous calls, HOURS on hold, Transferred to about 20 different departments in the last 2 weeks and nobody can get anything done.  I got told 8 days ago, the risk department has it pending and they will call me that day. No call. Back on the phone and another hour on the phone and they’re telling me the same thing again today.  This is absolutely absurd.

I need a report that to allows me to filter by part number so I can see how many of each inventory item we have ordered for a specific date range.None of the reports that I can find show that.

Monthly "recurring payments" created for several customers are not getting created on the Quickbooks side.  It worked the first month but not the following two.  The payments ARE being taken in Intuit Merchant Services center and deposited in our bank--but Quickbooks Online Advanced is not creating the invoice the payments are to apply to (other than the first month/occurrence), and so the payments don't sync over to our books from Intuit Merchant Services, which causes the deposit containing those payments to not sync into our books, and I have to manually enter them all.  Anyone else experiencing this? (note these are recurring PAYMENTS, not recurring Transactions.  Those seem to be working.)

Just wow - 2024 it was $47 month, 2025 $70 and todays notice $105 !! another whopping 50% jump in pricing - and that does not include payroll (now $60 month add on) or the ridiculous PER PAYROLL USER added fee which is just a money grab there zero reason for this fee - on top of the monthly payroll fee. I understand annual increases but these are just gouging the customer.

On iOS, swiping to undo a transaction now happens right away, without an 'Are you sure' warning first. This matches how undo works on the web. You save a tap each time you undo a transaction.

When a client attaches a file to a response in the Customer Hub inbox, the file is now linked to the related transaction automatically. A note next to the attachment in the conversation shows that it was linked. You no longer have to download and re-attach client files to the transaction yourself.

When you print or export a group of Modern Reports to PDF, the print preview now shows header details such as the company name. The layout of the printout was also updated to follow the same format as a single Modern Report. You spend less time fixing printouts before you share them.

Payroll tax withdrawals now carry a unique reference that QuickBooks can match to your bank feed automatically, even when several withdrawals are for the same amount. The reference also includes the payee name, so you can tell withdrawals apart in your bank activity. You spend less time matching tax withdrawals by hand during reconciliation.

When you apply more vendor credit than is available, or more credit than the bills due, Pay Bills now shows a message that explains the problem. Previously, you would see the generic message 'Something's not working. Try refreshing the page and check back.' You now know what to fix instead of retrying the payment.

In the QuickBooks Workforce app, a clock-out error that showed 'Your info didn't load' for some employees was addressed. Previously, affected employees would need to clock out on the web instead. You can now clock out from your phone without the extra step.

An update to Payroll Tax Center keeps the date your electronic tax payments started when other enrollment details change. This helps keep scheduled tax payments in line with your enrollment. You spend less time checking which tax payments are scheduled.

If you cancel a scheduled bill payment in Pay Bills, the cancellation is now processed more reliably. This fix applies to how canceled bill payments are handled behind the scenes. You can cancel a payment with more confidence that it won't go out.

Hi! Is there any way that we can get these many columns fields in the same report to view and reconcile the Accounts payables of any company? It would be really very helpful to see all required information at the same place in a single report.. Vendors name/BN Purc Inv date Purc Inv ref # Memo/Note/Descriptions/Remarks/ Allocations/Splits/Period/Comments Items sold* (If only single item or split reqd) Rate* (If only single item or split reqd) SubTotal GST/HST/Sales Tax TOTAL Due Date QB Account# Approved By? Child support was recently terminated but I made a mistake and withheld it on accident.  Now to correct my mistake.  Should I make a Liability Adjustment?  I also need to cut a check for the amount and give to the employee.

I’ve just started working for a company that is bringing their accounting in-house after using a bookkeeping firm for several years. The qbw file is still with the bookkeeping firm, but I need to enter current year transactions. I know it’s a heavy lift, but can I create a new qbw file with current year data and then upload prior period information once the files are returned to us?

I have a bug report to send in, but I can’t find the option to send it through my Quickbooks Desktop on my MacBook. Here’s the details: Product Information:OS Platform: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1 Application: QuickBooks Desktop for Mac (on the most recent update) Email Connection Protocol: Integrated Gmail Account (OAuth / Enhanced Security) Issue Summary:There is a critical user-interface memory-caching bug within the "Email Forms" workspace. When attempting to batch-send multiple invoices simultaneously using the integrated Gmail OAuth connection, QuickBooks Mac fails to parse or pass the Customer Email string variable to the outbound transmission queue. This results in an immediate connection failure ("There were one or more problems sending forms to your email provider") and subsequently strips/wipes the email addresses entirely from the affected transaction lines in the batch list. Steps to Reproduce:Generate multiple customer invoices and flag them all for "Email Later". Ensure every cus

I am creating a separate thread because this issue continues to be confused with Automatic Invoice Reminders and the “Online automatically follows up” setting. This is NOT the same feature.I do not use Automatic Invoice Reminders. They are disabled on my account. I cannot disable a feature that is already disabled.Despite this, QuickBooks sends my customers a “Finish your payment” email approximately 48 hours after I send their invoice. This happens even though our invoices have Net 30 payment terms.I have contacted QuickBooks Support multiple times and have repeatedly been told to disable Automatic Invoice Reminders. That does not solve the problem because those reminders were never enabled in the first place.Since support has been unable to identify the issue, I created a mock customer profile and have been testing the invoice process myself. What I have confirmed:Automatic Invoice Reminders are OFF. The “Finish your payment” email is still sent. Disabling “Online automatically follows
