Hi,I’m running into an issue when trying to pull up my reports by tags in QuickBooks Online. The Problem: When I search for and select the Profit and Loss by Tag Group report, it redirects or opens as the Statement of Activity By Tag Group, and I am no longer able to choose or filter by individual tags under the customization options. What I used to do: Previously, I could easily run the Profit and Loss by Tag Group report and customize it by selecting specific tags. Now, the tag options seem to have disappeared from the customization menu. Has something changed with how this report handles tags, or is there a specific workaround to filter by tags in this view again? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am posting this warning to help protect other QuickBooks users from what I experienced with Cosmic Solutions and the individuals who identified themselves as PII Removed.I have retained emails, invoices, payment records, screenshots, and other documentation supporting the events described below.I was contacted through emails claiming to be from QuickBooks or Intuit stating that QuickBooks Desktop was being discontinued and that I needed to migrate my company file to the cloud. The emails appeared to be from QuickBooks support and included phone numbers that I later discovered were not official Intuit support numbers. After speaking with the individuals, I was persuaded to move my QuickBooks company file to a cloud-hosted environment that they controlled. I was assured that the cloud solution would be more secure and that this was the recommended path because QuickBooks Desktop was supposedly being discontinued.Once my data was hosted in their environment, I repeatedly lost access to m

Why am I getting this error now when none of my data in payroll and QB has changed?  ; [ERROR] [Name removed] The entity does not exist in Quickbooks [11283] ;[Name removed] The entity does not exist in Quickbooks [11283] ;[Name removed] The entity does not exist in Quickbooks [11283]

Help! I am trying to pull a report somehow (hopefully!) that shows me the dates and number of hours that an employee used PTO for last year. I am not using Quickbooks Time right now, because Quickbooks Online is a disaster, and I still haven’t figured out how to get it working properly.I enter time for our employees by going to “create” then “weekly timesheet”. The pay type is “paid time off” and the service is “hours”, which we also use for holiday pay, so I can’t just filter a report by service, because it would also include holiday hours. Is there any way to get a report that shows the dates that the employee was off and the number of hours? I’m losing hope. I’ve tried several different reports and even asked AI, which is really something for me. QB community is my last hope! I’m hoping you guys can pull through for me!Thank you!

The new shipping manager is connected to both UPS and USPS, but compare rates will only show USPS rates. Even if we specifically choose UPS for the package type, and then a service like UPS ground, it won’t come up with a rate. The message we get is:“The Selected shipping service isn't compatible with your package type.”

Qualified OT Tracking Payroll item is reporting / posting $$$ amount to payroll liabilities account. Is it supposed to? I think it’s also causing QB to abort quite often.Or was it set up incorrectly at the beginning of the year?  Can someone who speaks English and is knowledgeable about the new payroll item describe how it should be set-up? Chat support admitted they did not know the answer and wanted to engage me for the usual bs to waste time. I often wonder if these outsourced call centers pay their “service reps” according to the time they keep customers engaged on the phone or by chat?

I cleared a deposit made in April on the April bank req.  The item shows as cleared on the reconciliation report but is also showing as uncleared on the same report.  It continues to show up on the deposits when I do the bank reconciliation.  How do I get rid of it?!

Do we have an option to filter Invoices to whoever made them? Tons of invoices are needed to be sent individually by whoever sent the invoices, doing it manually checking if it’s made by me before sending costs so much time

In May, my business computer was blocked by Intuit. I was told “for security reasons”. They just confirmed that my device has a device block on it. I ended up having to buy a new laptop. After 6 weeks on my new laptop I am in the same situation only this time I am allowed to sign in through Firefox but no other browsers. I prefer Chrome but not allowed to use it. I don’t know why they keep doing this to me without any explanation or suggestion on how to prevent it from happening again. Has anyone else had this block and get them to remove the block??  I can’t keep buying new computers for no reason.

Hi all, hoping someone can help me figure this out!I run a consolidated Profit & Loss through Intuit Enterprise Suite. I pulled the same report two days in a row and something changed overnight.Yesterday it looked totally normal. Today, every Income and Other Income line is showing as negative, while Expenses are still positive. That throws my Net Income off completely — it's coming out with the wrong sign now.The underlying data hasn't really changed. When I flip the income signs back manually, the totals tie right back to yesterday's, so it seems like a presentation/sign issue rather than a data issue.Has anyone run into this? Is there a setting for the sign convention somewhere, or a way to fix how income is displaying? Any help would be much appreciated — thanks!

Lately in QBO, Intuit tries adding new features by introducing them via popup messages. I find it very annoying and would like to stop them.

I have six reminders for "Checks to Print". They were all paid via bank transfers. The oldest one is from 2013. Is there a way to update the registers to show that they were transfers? Or how else to clear them from the reminders?

Hello, My credit card statement ending balance doesn't match due to discounted invoices for early payment. How do I account for these early payment invoices on the statement?

Hello, I have a client who created a bunch of invoices in QBO, but then randomly made bulk deposits for services from their customers. I was able to match up a few invoices they marked as paid to deposits, but many don't equal up. They explained their clients are all paid up but I have several older A/R payments showing up in my reconciliation that essentially make it look like double entries. I thought of voiding those invoices but their customers are connected to those invoices. I tried to split those deposits and pair them up to as many of the invoices as possible, but nothing equals up to the exact amount. (I even asked Chat GPT to figure out possible combinations since there was a lot, and nothing) I was thinking I could do an expense for the total amount of invoices not counted in the reconciliation process, label it as a correction, then count the deposit in the reconciliation. It won't show which customers the deposits are applied to, but it also won't inflate th
