Hi All....looking for some help on transmitter number info. I have always used the generic transmitter number and have web access codes for each of my clients...this year I applied for a transmitter number but was under the understanding that they would give me one access code and I would use for all my clients....this did not happen, I just received the transmitter number. Am I missing something???? Someone out there has to have multiple client's that they file forms for....please help...

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
Three CRA numbers are required to file slips:
1)The transmitter number which ProFile enters in every XML
2)The account number which is the business number, and
3)The WAC matching the account number used
The account number and matching WAC are used to log into the CRA XML transfer server. Firms often use their account number and WAC to log into the CRA server to avoid the need to get a WAC for all there clients account numbers.
So if you want to use your account number you must get a web access code for that account number from CRA.
Hope this helps
