Would a transfer after a year of getting to know QB be worth the hassle? I was just about to use it as my full book keeping account, saving me time using excel every month and working it all out for my self. Then this all happened. And I’m loosing faith the company understands how difficult self trading is becoming. This morning has tipped me over the edge after spending 2 hours explaining the fault is on multiple devices and therefore cannot be an isolated cache fault. I’m now awaiting for the technical team to respond and hopefully be a step closer to find my receipts and link it all to my app. My frustration with it all. Is the time and effort this company seems drag. I’m self employed and the time spent with these problems is at an extreme cost to my income. I spoke with annoyance, trying to clarify the problem is beyond their troubleshooting questions. The process is too long. To then find out, the in house communication doesn’t exist. Confusion when
I am using a bank that does not link directly to QB so I need to manually upload the csv file with my bank transactions. However QB does not support the date format in my csv file which is YYYY-MM-DD. I can see QB supports this date format in other parts of the site (in its settings) but it is not listed for uploading bank transactions. I'm unable to complete the process as QB flags the date column as being in the wrong format. I am using QB online. Please help Eleanor
Our business is not in the Freeport Zone (UK) but Payroll Opening Balances are asking for NIable Pay PT to FUST and NIable pay FUST to UEL. I can leave it as £0.00 but our accountant is not happy that it is asking for figures. Within settings, we have selected that we are not a Freeport company. Have searched up through the help pages and FUST nor Freeport are not mentioned anywhere within help pages. The results on searching up NI Opening Balances also does not mention TP to FUST / FUST to UEL. Reluctant to just go ahead and use Payroll in case I have issues down the line. Could anyone else please check their opening balances and see if FUST is asked for?? I'd appreciate any help.

I've just logged back on to do some tax work. I was a few weeks from finishing all my transactions for 2024/25. I was scrolling down the transaction list and for some reason it cuts off on the 14th November. What's going on? To clarify the bank has been resynced to QB so I have no idea why it's showing everything up to November 2024.
I was happy with self employed account but I had to update to sole trader and have had issues ever since. Bank transactions don’t transfer to my account, only if I input manually. Contacted quickbooks 3 times but still not resolved
i just started using qb for payroll this June. i have been using Basic PAYE before, up to May 2025. how can i enter the payroll information for April and May 2025 to qb such that I can do Final Submission and P60 for the whole tax year 2025/26?

I have a problem setting up my accounts for the first time in quickbooks. I know I have chosen the wrong account to balance the balance sheet (retained earnings) and need help to fix the 6 transactions that are causing me the problem. The amounts in the table below are correct however I know that I should not be using retained earnings to balance the sheet - what should I be using to set up journal entries for tax provision, year end debtors and accountants fees? My retained earnings account is out by £1,703.86 due to these transactions. When I go to add a product or service I press the button and then it flashes on and off my screen and I can’t press anything
After i use a recurring template , ie a monthly supplier invoice , it used to be removed from the reminders list until the following month . but now it stays in the list with a next date of the one i've just entered

The director made two payments for the payroll i.e. 500 on 1st May and 33.34 on 11th July. I am having difficulty in matching these payments with payroll for April.
I am a QuickBooks Self-Employed user. My invoices are not being delivered to my email address. Key facts: My domain’s DNS has been recently updated.Email is hosted on Google Workspace, properly authenticated (SPF, DKIM, DMARC fully configured).I successfully receive account notifications from QuickBooks, but invoice emails are missing entirely. These missing emails don’t appear in Google Workspace logs, suggesting they may not be reaching Google’s servers at all.For a time, I had an auto-response enabled on this address, which may have triggered a suppression on your system. Could this issue please be escalated to your email deliverability team to review any suppression/block lists that may be affecting my address? Thank you for your assistance.
The VAT 100 report now doesn't agree to the VAT return total as it doesn't show exceptions, this is confusing for clients
