Good morning! I am looking a report that provides the name that is printed on the check. Sometimes the "PRINT NAME ON CHECK AS" is different than the vendor name. I have not been able to locate a report option that provides this. Thank you in advance!

Not seeing your bank transactions update? Work through the checklist below to get your feed back on track.Start here: has it just been 90 days? Open Banking connections expire every 90 days - it's a regulatory thing, not a QuickBooks glitch. Head to Bank transactions, select the account, and reconnect. Good news: if you pick the original start date when you reconnect, you won't lose anything that came in during the gap. Seeing an error code? Every error code means something specific: expired login, your bank having issues on their end, a duplicate account, or extra security steps. Rather than guess, check your exact code against the full list of fixes here. Excluded a transaction? If you delete something from your Excluded list (rather than just leaving it there, excluded), QuickBooks forgets it ever saw it so it'll happily download it again next sync. If you don't want to see it again, exclude and leave it, or add it to your account history instead. Setting up a new connection? A coup

Managing inventory becomes more complicated when a business has multiple stores, warehouses, or both online and offline sales channels. Keeping stock records updated manually can lead to mismatches, overstocking, or unexpected stockouts.I’ve been looking into different inventory management system options that can provide a centralized view of stock and make day-to-day inventory work easier. One solution I came across is Vasy, which offers features such as real-time stock tracking, warehouse management, barcode scanning, stock alerts, automated reorders, and inventory synchronization across locations.

Just don't know how to do it

i dont charge GST on sales but there is a fugure on my report when it should be nil

Every time I attempt to transfer money I get a message to try later.   I spoke with QB and they say they are working on it.  Its been a month already but I'm still having the same issue.

When I go to reconcile transactions, the page reloads and some transactions appear duplicated 10+ times. These are not transactions that have actually been entered multiple times; they are simply being displayed repeatedly on the page. I’ve tried using different browsers, but the issue still occurs. My accountant also experiences the same problem when accessing my QuickBooks account, so it doesn’t appear to be specific to my browser or device. The only workaround I’ve found is to go back to the home page and then navigate to Transactions again. This temporarily fixes the display, but the issue keeps happening and is making the reconciliation process very time-consuming. Could you please investigate whether this is a known issue and advise how it can be permanently resolved?

Nothing more to add other that to specify a period which is for the full financial year

Modern Reports, QuickBooks Online's now-standard report-viewing experience, currently strips account numbers from several reports even when "Show account numbers" is turned on in your settings — this is a known display gap, not a setting you're missing. Classic view has been fully retired, so the fix is to rebuild the missing detail inside Modern using column and grouping controls, not to switch views. Separately, AI-powered features like suggested categorization and auto-recall can override manually entered details, and each has its own off switch. When your reports stop matching your chart of accountsYou turned on account numbers. You confirmed "Show account numbers" is checked. You run your Account List or Trial Balance anyway, and the numbers just... aren't there. If you've also noticed QuickBooks quietly overwriting a check number or category you entered by hand, you're not imagining a pattern — you're running into two separate but related side effects of QuickBooks Online's move t

Getting paid is one of the most important parts of running a business, but customers do not all want to pay the same way. Some prefer cards, others like bank transfers, and some may still prefer more traditional payment options. QuickBooks recently highlighted the different payment methods businesses can use and the importance of choosing options that fit both the business and its customers. When reviewing your payment options, consider:• Convenience: Is it easy for customers to pay you?• Speed: How quickly will the money become available to your business?• Fees: Are there transaction or processing fees you need to account for?• Security: Does the payment method offer appropriate protections for you and your customers?• Recordkeeping: Can you easily track and organize the payments in your books?Offering several payment options can make it easier for customers to complete a purchase, but more options are not always better if they make your bookkeeping harder to manage.Take some time to r

Can I change my quickbooks account to a personal account? I no longer need a self employed business account but I want to keep using quickbooks if possible.

I have a business with bank account in 2 different banks. How to I connect the second bank?

If QuickBooks Online isn't recognizing your QuickBooks Desktop license after a migration, it's almost always a billing or account-mapping issue, not a lost license. Your Desktop license and your new QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription are two separate products in Intuit's system, so moving your data doesn't automatically cancel, credit, or "carry over" the old one. We can usually fix this by confirming which subscriptions are active on your account and canceling or merging the ones you don't need. The problem, in plain termsYou did everything right. You backed up your file, ran the migration tool, and watched your customers, vendors, and transactions land in QuickBooks Online. Then the bill came — and either you're still being charged for Desktop, your Online account doesn't reflect the plan you thought you paid for, or you've got two company files fighting for the same data. That's not you doing something wrong. It's a byproduct of how migration and licensing work as separate systems.

what a hell is going on with receipts/expenses for review its acting weird some are showing as old layout some not and c option for match its not working

HELP and please don't just send a bot answer!!! SEE ATTACHED PDF OF EMAIL FROM QUICKBOOKS EMAIL WITH ATTACHED INVOICE...Recently my web mail stopped working, couldn't figure that out, so switched to "quickbooks email" through my microsoft outlook.  Well emails are going out again BUT, now you all are showing my computer file name within the email you generate when I send a invoice. QB had to fix it once and now my file name is "fixed_my company LLC" now that looks real intelligent. Is there a way to fix this when using quickbooks email or should i go back to trying to figure out why my web mail just stopping working.  Pray I get a real answer.  There are many "unsolved" questions on this matter.

How is that not at least a warning that you are being logged out? I didn't stop work or leave the platform once the entire time. This is a horrible flaw

Is anyone else having issues with approving time? Tsheets reps were not able to help...

Hey, QuickBooks. In your US QuickBooks Community, you have your threads displayed in the All, Solved, and Unanswered tabs. Can you add a tab for Unsolved? Thanks.
