When we were first forced to migrate to QuickBooks Online, we could pay well over 20 invoices at the same time when paying bills by check. One of the latest updates has now limited that to 20 invoices at one time.  This is intensely prohibitive when you have multiple bills per vendor due.How can you remove the 20 bill limit when selecting bills to pay by check in QBO?

I have around 500 Customers setup on my system with payment terms already set on them. I need to change the payment terms now so that all customers are paying at the same term rate. Is there a way of doing this without individually having to go into each one and changing it?

Hi, is anyone else who uses the GoCardless integration finding that the deposits aren't being created since the 24th March? I contacted support on Monday and went through it in detail yesterday but they told me there hadn't been other reports of this issue. Thanks, Stewart

My home currency is in JPY but I billed and created bill in SGD, but the balance use JPY1=SGD1. Abnormal revaluation in profit and loss accounts

I'm using QuickBooks Online Plus.Until recently, I could click the reconciliation-status column in my checking register and have ALL uncleared transactions grouped together at the top, regardless of transaction date. That functionality appears to have disappeared.I have approximately 26 uncleared transactions among 954 register entries. Clicking the checkmark column no longer groups all 26 together. Filtering by "No Status" hasn't resolved the display issue either.I've spent several hours with five QuickBooks support representatives, including higher-level support. They suspect the newer register interface may have changed this functionality, but nobody has been able to confirm whether it's intentional or a software defect.Interestingly, Intuit's own documentation still says the register can be sorted by reconciliation status. My questions: Has anyone else experienced this recently? Can you still sort ALL uncleared transactions to the top of your actual checking register? Has anyone

I keep getting the error in my QuickBooks Desktop (NOT QB ONLINE) bank feed "You are no longer connected to Bank of America web connect, Set up a new connection with Bank of America - New again to start using the new and improved bank feeds."When I attempt this, it goes all the way through the process then at the very end when is says connected I get another air message, "Sorry, we've run into a problem. QuickBooks is having trouble connecting to Bank of America - New. Below this message it says; 88888 All accounts associated with this customer ID have been synced with QuickBooks bank feeds. If other wise contact your financial institution. No connection has been made and nothing has Syced. This has been going on for over a week now. I have contacted BoA and they state that QB has ended their relationship with them and I have conta

I’m missing about 8 months of imported bank feed. I’ve updated my bank connection. It is current with the last several months available but still has a large gap in banking activity. How do I recover the missing information? Do I risk unlinking then re-establishing the bank connection or would I lose all current data?

All transactions are missing. I tried downloading and importing the missing transactions as a csv but I repeatedly get the message "Darn, File upload Failed"

I’m using QuickBooks Desktop Accountant 2024 (subscription), Release R21P.I have multiple company files that use Bank Feeds with Bank of America. QB has prompted me to change my OLB connection from Bank of America - New to Bank of America QBDT. Here is what I’m seeing:1. In one company file (the one I attempted to migrate):After disconnecting all accounts from Bank of America - New, I choose Bank of America QBDT as the connection methodOAuth login at Bank of America succeedsI select the accounts to connectQuickBooks crashes immediately after the account‑selection stepWhen I reopen QuickBooks, I try again, and get error 88888:“All accounts associated with this customer ID have been synced…”I cannot connect Bank of America QBDTI also cannot reconnect Bank of America – NewThis file is now completely locked out of Bank Feeds2. In another company file (one I have NOT attempted to migrate):Bank of America – New still connects normallyIt downloads recent transactions without errorsNo 88888 me

Wondering if there is a limit on the time that pulls, maybe it depends on the bank.

Reports sorted by customer seem to not be working.  For instance:If I zoom in on income for a P&L it goes to a transaction detail by account report with all transations for the period.  If I change it to total by customer, the values for the whole report disappear and the total is 0.00. If I create an A/R Aging Detail report, all open invoices report for all customers.  If I do an A/R Aging Summary it shows nothing and Total 0.00. If I do a sales by item detail report it populates all sales.  If I do a Sales by Cutomer Summary or Sales by customer Detail I get total 0.00. Any ideas how to get back these reports or how the data disappears?

Seeing as how there are a litany of topics/issues in regards to Chase credit card downloads, I'd like to know how others have structured their cards in their Chart of Accounts and if the banking feed is downloading their transactions properly. Is the master card for your chase account structured as the parent account in QBO? And would that mean that all of your other employee cards are structured as sub-accounts to that parent card? Or are you setting up a parent account for all cards (including master) that is not actually connected to Chase Online? Meaning that only the sub-accounts are connected to a bank feed.  Any feedback on the correct way to do this is greatly appreciated.

With the latest update ran just days ago to both my Mac OS  to latest vs. of Golden Gate 27.0.1 and the latest vs. update V23.1.13 R14 Build 962 to Quickbooks Desktop 2024 for Mac there is a glitch in trying to create an invoice for any Customer that has sub menu “Project” or Group type in use. When you select in the drop down menu it works for standard customer but not for any that seems to have a “sub” level to it. When attempting to select the one from the menu upon tab or clicking out of that menu to start building the invoice it “jumps” to assigning the invoice to a completely different customer. If I do it again two to three times attempting to select the one I want it does finally add and hold the right customer and project but it used to just do it correctly standard basic procedure from first initial choice like it should. Something changed or broke in the latest updates. Is there going to be a fix? Also note I have run the tools and the “Verify” and “fix-rebuild” data has bee

Fellow small business owners -curious if anyone else has run into this, and how you handled it.Quick background on me: I run a seasonal student storage business in Massachusetts. We've been with QuickBooks Payments for 14 years. Last year we processed about $1.72 million in card payments through Intuit. Long track record, clean payment history, no chargeback issues.Last May (2025), I noticed Intuit had quietly raised my processing rates heading into my peak season. I caught it on the statement, called support, and after some back-and-forth got the rates walked back. You can actually see it on my June 2025 statement where there are duplicate fee line items at both the old and new rates from the mid-month adjustment. This year I decided to be proactive. I got a written competitive quote from another payment processor that uses interchange-plus pricing — basically pass-through interchange plus a small processor margin instead of Intuit's flat-rate model. Their effective rate estimate for m

I tried taking the banking and accounting exam for Level 1 certification today but it keeps freezing on question 9. I’ve tried switching browsers, logging out and back in, and deleting my browser history/cache. None of these “solutions” resolve the issue. I’ve extremely frustrated by this since I am unable to move forward with other certifications until I pass this exam. Please help!

Hi all. I am currently cleaning a client’s books and reconciling their sales versus COGS in the PnL report. We order our items from several suppliers. Now, here’s the interesting part: Client creates a bill for the items order, then set the billable option on the Bill to their customer for dropshipping/order. Client invoices the customer for the same item. The billable item from the bill isn’t ported over to the invoice. The invoice is created manually based on the bill/PO document. Now on the PnL By Job report, I can see both the bill AND the invoice for the drilled down total for COGS. By experience, only the invoice should appear as COGs, correct? I am seeing lower than reported income % on the report per job/customer. I wanted to confirm this before I submit my proposal cleanup. I want to provide as much detail as I can since they handle a large amount of orders spanning years and I don’t want to leave out the details on what exactly is going on on the report.

I have been trying to add our new bank account in QB Merchant Center for nearly 3 months now. I’ve spent many hours and many days on the phone with support. I have been transferred to numerous people, I have been given several case #’s and told I would hear back from someone with a solution, but I’ve heard nothing. And when I contact support again, I’m told there is nothing they can do until the engineering dept resolves the issue. We’ve had several customers’ pay invoices, over $65,000 in payments, and QB has these payments. This is our company’s money and QB cannot send this to us?!!This is ridiculous!  It should NOT take this long!

So about 3 weeks, my online store got hit by someone trying fraudulent credit cards. Around 250 cards were tried in over 10 minutes and 4 were successful.  I got an email that Quickbooks was closing my Payments account. Which makes sense and I don’t blame them for it. I called the next day and they said I had to reapply for a new account and told me to use a different email address.  The application was filled out on 8/20 and I got my new Merchant ID number and said it will take 1-2 business days. That was 19 days ago. Numerous calls, HOURS on hold, Transferred to about 20 different departments in the last 2 weeks and nobody can get anything done.  I got told 8 days ago, the risk department has it pending and they will call me that day. No call. Back on the phone and another hour on the phone and they’re telling me the same thing again today.  This is absolutely absurd.

I need a report that to allows me to filter by part number so I can see how many of each inventory item we have ordered for a specific date range.None of the reports that I can find show that.

Monthly "recurring payments" created for several customers are not getting created on the Quickbooks side.  It worked the first month but not the following two.  The payments ARE being taken in Intuit Merchant Services center and deposited in our bank--but Quickbooks Online Advanced is not creating the invoice the payments are to apply to (other than the first month/occurrence), and so the payments don't sync over to our books from Intuit Merchant Services, which causes the deposit containing those payments to not sync into our books, and I have to manually enter them all.  Anyone else experiencing this? (note these are recurring PAYMENTS, not recurring Transactions.  Those seem to be working.)
