Welcome friends! Thanks for stopping by the Business Discussion board. Today I'd like to share an article I came across on Inc.com that covers three ways to make your business newsletter more engaging. Here are a few key points...Ask for feedback"To get a clearer idea about how you could improve, start by gathering impressions about the current format and content of your newsletter. Ask for feedback from groups like:Your team (especially those outside of the marketing department) Colleagues and peers Your own audienceFor the latter, a short survey should be enough to find out what readers enjoy and what they tend to skip."Reconsider your layout and format"Have you ever opened a long email and felt like closing it right away? Even great content can lose readers if the layout feels overwhelming or difficult to scan. To make your newsletter more inviting:Choose a font that’s comfortable to read Avoid overly long sentences and paragraphs Highlight key takeaways"Always edit AI-written conte

I'm uploading receipts and when I try to upload a rail ticket it rejects it as an invalid document. Why does the Receipts area reject documents that were OK under the previous version of QB?

Hello.  I use a program called Design Files for my interior design business and have it connected to QBO.  I send invoices directly from Design Files for a portion of the total amount, then request the balance at a later date, and the client pays from the link it provides.  Suddenly, Quickbooks has also started sending an invoice for the full amount.  This has become painfully confusing for us and the client as we may send out numerous invoices in a day or week.  I went into settings and unchecked:Automatically send imported invoicesInvoices will be sent only to customers with a saved email address. That did not work and it is still sending invoices.  How do I turn this off?  This is a horrible feature and causes too much confusion and chaos for us and our clients.  Thank you.

I am a primary admin but i dont have access to it

my client setup an intuit account in error and we want to cancel it. is there any way we can do that?

How do I add a new company in subscriptions

For interest allocated to trade or business assets (or expenditures), report the interest on a separate line of your Schedule E, Part II. Enter “business interest” and the name of the partnership or S corporation in column (a) and the amount in column (i).tax act doesn’t unless I make another k 1 which is improper

I have recurring invoices set to go out to 140 people each month for membership dues. I want them to be able to pay by bank transfer, HOWEVER I don’t want them to be set up on autopay because I don’t want to have to chase down bounced payments. I’d prefer them to authorize payment each month, so if it doesn’t go through they see it right then and there. Also, if they cancel their membership I don’t have to issue refunds. I don’t need more work to deal with. I already have 140 invoices each month to deal with. From what I’ve seen, the only way to disable autopay is to disable the payment method entirely. Surely this can’t be the case? How can I disable autopay on customer facing invoices?

Good Day All:I keep getting a pop up saying my subscription must be renewed. Dire things will happen if I don’t pay it. But it’s been paid. Also, I tried to check and see if I had an outstanding balance, and all the thing does is spin. Finally, I have my own desktop QuickBooks at home and want my name on it. The boss has hers and her name should be on it. That’s the one with the subscription. So, I saw a tab that says, Want to change the name? And I clicked  on it - and it brought me here. Then, while updating my address, the thing simply shut down on me. Not a good day for me in QB land. Any ideas? And I thank you for your thoughts.

I add all my categories manually (because apparently copying from an existing table seems to hard for QuickBooks), then copy all the description, prices and quantities. After this, when I save the quote, all the Product column changes to ‘’Sales’’.Is there any way to copy a table and save time? Instead of typing all items individually?

Seeking some way to import an estimate -- typically an Excel or comma-delimited file -- directly into QB (preferably Online) such that it is recognized as an estimate (whether mapped manually or automatically). Based on cursory web searches and perusing this forum, it appears that the only way to import anything -- estimate or otherwise -- into the transactions database is as an .iif.Further, based on the existence of many plugins that claim to offer interoperability with Excel, my current best guess is that such a transmittal would entail a somewhat involved conversion process. Seeking confirmation or advice either way. Thanks.

We recently sold an item through our eBay store and they sent us a payout for the sale to our bank account. However, when the customer returned the item and we refunded them, eBay charged our company credit card instead of pulled the funds from the original bank. I’ve contacted eBay to see if this can be reversed, but it’s too late unfortunately. At this point, I’m not sure how to handle this in Quickbooks, especially since I now have a transaction hanging out in the bank deposit screen for the refund. I’m assuming I can create a journal entry at least for part of this. The complex part is that we also withheld funds for the shipping costs to the customer.

I entered the amount of the credit in the upper portion of the bill.  Then when I did the account breakdown, I added the information form the invoice.  The lower portion equalled the upper portion but when I tried to save it, I got the message that the bill was not in balance.  I double checked the adding forward and backward and it is indeed balanced.  However, the program will not let me move on because it will not save the credit bill.  Please help.

I just received a phone call from a man who said he was from QuickBooks and he gave me error codes.   I was very suspicious.  He asked me if i knew how to find and fix the error codes.  He said if i didnt know how to fix the error codes  that he could guide me through it and asked me to open QB.    He gave me a phone number of [phone number removed].  I told him i thought he was a scammer and hung up.Does this sound legitmate?ThanksLDO

My payroll subscription is showing as inactive in my QB desktop. I’ve logged into QB and confirmed that everything is in fact active. I’ve downloaded payroll updates so everything should be up to date. QB chat has been no help. I can’t seem to connect with anyone.
